Become a Planet Protector!

What is a planet protector? A planet protector is someone who in aware of how their choices affect the environment around them and believes that their choices matter. At the Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium we encourage making positive choices by:

  • Conserve: turning off lights, unplugging electronics when not in use or planting your own garden.

  • Preserve: reusing or refusing items that could end up in our landfills or waterways.

  • Influence: sharing the positive choices you are making to inspire others to do the same.

We encourage teachers to share our calls to action on how to become a Planet Protector with your students.
